EU4UA is an ambitious, EU-funded initiative that brings together partners from five countries to develop, pilot, and promote a complete blueprint for refugee integration – uniting research, public services, and community support to build pathways from crisis to stability.

Project goal

The EU4UA project aims to support the integration of refugees from Ukraine into local communities and labor markets in Poland, Romania, and the entire European Union. Its primary goal is to develop, test, and disseminate a comprehensive and scalable model of support services that can be implemented by public institutions, local governments, and social organizations.

What makes the EU4UA project innovative?

  • Creating a practical model (platform) – a collection of proven solutions and best practices supporting refugees, ready for implementation in various national and local contexts.
  • Each solution will include detailed instructions and implementation guidelines, which will facilitate its adaptation by institutions and organizations.
  • The project focuses on an integrated, human-centered approach that considers the real challenges faced by people with refugee experience.

What we aim to achieve

  • Develop a clear, evidence-based framework for integrated refugee services.
  • Pilot the model in Romania and Poland and fine-tune it with continuous feedback.
  • Promote the blueprint across the EU to drive sustainable policy change.
  • Engage institutions, NGOs, and communities in shaping better support systems.
  • Strengthen resilience, trust, and cooperation at all levels of society.

Who we support

  • Ukrainian refugees seeking inclusion, dignity, and stability.
  • Public institutions and service providers working under pressure.
  • Social enterprises and NGOs offering local solutions.
  • EU policymakers striving for social cohesion and impact.

Partners EU4UA brings together a strong alliance of partners from across Europe – experts in social innovation, refugee support, policy advocacy and community development. Together, we combine local expertise with European collaboration to create real change.

The project is funded by the European Union under the ESF+ Social Innovation+ (SI+) initiative.
